(Mixed media) acrylic painting on wood. For this painting the wood has been used to express the trees and at some parts sand is added to give the painting more structure. Size: approx 35 x 110 cm including frame. P49
Two super old cats who are now in cat heaven painted on acrylic paper mounted on plywood both 30 cm x 30 cm, using acrylic paint & inks from Royal Talens and Liquitex varnish.
Lizzy is a super cute kitten of only 8 weeks (at the time reference picture was taken). Painted on acrylic paper mounted on plywood 38 cm x 45 cm, using acrylic paint & inks from Royal Talens and Liquitex varnish.
Iggy too is my latest painting on wood using a pouring method for the background and a clear medium for the lower part to keep some of the grain of the wood. Painted on plywood 33 cm x 107 cm with Amsterdam acrylics and varnish from Royal Talens. Thanks to Eva Telenius-Lowe for using one of her pictures.
A mixed media piece I loved working on. It is approximate 50 cm x 100cm with frame (48 cm x 97 cm without frame).Happy with the golden frame which has a rough surface which is perfect with the sandy modeling paste used. With a big thanks to Sook Peng for the old music sheets used in this painting. Painted with Amsterdam acrylics, inks and varnish from Royal Talens.
The most adorable cat in the world. She lives with my brother and his wife in Holland. Varnished and framed and ready to go with me to Holland. Approximated 50 x 60 cm and painted with Amsterdam acrylics, inks and varnish from Royal Talens.
A gentle tiger painted on 60 cm x 70 cm stretched canvas. Painted with Amsterdam acrylics, inks and varnish from Royal Talens.
Started this painting last year but finally found the time to finish, varnish and frame it. Happy with the frame as it still shows the sides of the painting. Painted on cotton cloth on wood with acrylics and inks from Amsterdam by Royal Talens. The painting is 30 cm x 42 cm WITHOUT the wooden frame.
My impression of a Iguana painted with pallet knife on hard board 69 cm x 89 cm (without frame). Wasn't easy to find a suitable frame for Iggy: not available, to expensive, colour not right etc. But happy with the final choice as the frame matches perfectly with Iggy's eye. Painted with Amsterdam modeling paste, acrylics and inks from Royal Talens and varnished with high gloss varnish from Liquitex.
