Nabalu Memories (memories series #7)
During the lockdown I finally found time to go through old photos taken during our time in Malaysia and especially Borneo. Love its beautiful flora and fauna.
We made many road trips and always would make a stop at Nabalu where you can see some orchids and can ga e a great view on the mountain.
There are so many orchids here in Sabah (Borneo, East Malaysia) and they come in so many different shapes and sizes. This is my interpretation made with acrylics on 90 x 70 cm stretched canvas.
Painted with a Amsterdam and Expert acrylics from Royal Talens and with liquitex varnish.
