Tenom Memories (memories series #4)
During the lockdown found time to go through old rphotos taken during our time in Malaysia and especially Borneo. Love the beautiful flowers like this (Pelican) flower: a Dutchman's Pipe flower - in this case the Grand Dutchman's pipe flower (Aristolochia grandiflora). I found them at the Agricultural park in Tenom, introduced and come from South/Central America.
Mixed media on cotton mounted on plywood 70 cm x 90 cm, using acrylic paint, inks and varnish from Royal Talens.
