Messilau Memories (memories series #1)
During the lockdown (MCO) in Malaysia I finally found time to go through the many photos taken during our time in Malaysia and especially Borneo. Love the trails around Mount Kinabalu and the trail with the pitcher plants in Messilau. Finding pictures with stunning flora and fauna made me start a series called 'Memories'.
Mixed media on acrylic paper mounted on plywood in aluminium frame approx 50 cm x 70 cm, textured and using acrylic paint & inks from Royal Talens and varnish from Liquitex.
